Join the Elite Kiki House of Silky as the Ballroom collective celebrates five years of family, fashion, and voguing excellence at Machine Hall Precinct as part of Vivid Sydney 2024.

Father Xaddy and Mother Miri launched the Kiki House of Silky on Gadigal soil in 2019. Since then, it’s blossomed and expanded into chapters in Naarm and Boorloo.

The Silkys have showcased their “stylish, sexy, stupid” essence in balls across the country and internationally in the past five years. They’ve torn it up on stages such as Sydney World Pride 2023 and Australian Fashion Week, on top of hosting some of the most fun and fiercest parties that the queer community has seen in recent years.

With utmost reverence and respect to the pioneering Black and Latinx femme queens of New York, House of Silky continues the legacy of QTIPOC excellence, beauty, and self-expression.
