Astral People are bringing together a massive line-up of local and international acts for two huge nights of jazz, soul, hip-hop and R&B on the Northern Broadwalk.
Formed by Tom Huggett and Vichara Edirisinghe in 2011, Astral People has become one of Australia’s most innovative multi-hyphenate music companies: cultivating cutting-edge artists on both the local and international front as well creating OutsideIn Festival, Last Dance NYE and Summer Dance Series; and hosting unforgettable shows and stages at Vivid LIVE, Strawberry Fields, Subsonic Music Festival and Splendour In The Grass.
With the restrictions of 2021 throwing a spanner in the works for their 10th birthday, Astral People are back in 2022 with the birthday party they never got to have. They're bringing a massive line-up of talent to the spectacular Northern Broadwalk for an unmissable Vivid LIVE event. Celebrate over two nights with Grammy-nominated Melbourne funk faves Hiatus Kaiyote, South London jazz fusionist Yussef Dayes, Coventry rap star JAY1, UK’s S1mba, homegrown hero Briggs and many more. Plus, Spanish electro guru John Talabot returns to the Sydney Opera House Studio for a special one-off performance. This one will shake the city.
