Go deep underground, travel back in time within the Wynyard Tunnels, then fast forward to right here, right now. Plunge into a space of misdirection and discover a secret spectrum of touchable colour with 300 kaleidoscopic lasers, 500 handmade lanterns and over 250 searchlights in an underworld of intensity and power.
An epic soundtrack filled with dance tracks and club hits will draw you deeper as you move through this all-new kilometre long immersive experience made up of eight different chambers where light, sound and colour collide.
Brought to Sydney by award-winning, international trail producers Sony Music, Culture Creative and Mandylights as part of Vivid Sydney 2024, turn on the lights again, open your mind and unleash the mystery of Dark Spectrum: A New Journey.
The entrance and box office for Dark Spectrum is located in Wynyard Park which is situated between York Street and Carrington Street. Once your ticket is scanned, you will be guided by a steward to the entrance. Please note, you will exit via Cumberland Street in The Rocks. The box office and event site are cashless.

Dark Spectrum is suitable for a wide range of age groups to enjoy. However, please be advised that children between the ages of 6 and 12 must be accompanied by an adult; children aged 5 and under are not permitted into the event.
For safety reasons, strollers and prams are not permitted. There will not be a designated area to store strollers or prams at the event.
Information on Access and Inclusion
Customer discretion is advised when purchasing tickets for those who may not be comfortable amidst an immersive, high-volume experience. The experience takes place along a one-way system in a series of underground tunnels with limited exits once inside. Some of the lighting sequences will include flashing, flickering and patterned effects, as well as strobe effects. Smoke and haze effects may be used in some areas of the route. Ticket Conditions
*Booking and transaction fees may apply. Ticket prices vary depending on the date and time of your visit. It is important to make sure that you choose the right date and time slot when you buy tickets, as we are not able to offer exchanges or refunds after tickets have been purchased.
A box office will be available at the entrance on event days if you need to purchase or pick up tickets at the event, or for any queries on the day. Tickets will be on sale at the venue when not sold out prior, and are subject to a $5 increase per person.
