Virtual Vibration transforms the facade of the Museum of Contemporary Art Australia (MCA) with an evolving image that brings together the cheerful dissonance of psychedelia with the formal concerns of high modernism.

The large-scale projection mapping of the installation is a highly collaborative creative work produced by the Spinifex Group in conjunction with Australian artist Jonny Niesche and composer Mark Pritchard

It explores the art of Jonny Niesche whose beguiling compositions offer shifting, sensory experiences produced by subtle acts of reflection, transparency and movement. Mark Pritchard’s accompanying score adds an epic, monumental sound to this beautiful and mesmerising experience.
