Led by singer-songwriter Kell Derrig-Hall, The Singing Skies songs are classic folk imbued with an ornate contemporary alt-country feel. The band’s current line-up hails from some of Sydney’s finest stalwarts, like Melodie Nelson and The Holy Soul, all contributing to a rich sounding tapestry of guitars, cello and Derrig-Hall’s own delicately wailing vocals.

In the lead up to new album ‘On Head In The Trees, Heart On The Ground’, live shows from The Singing Skies have been few and far between. But, they’re back charming Sydney audiences with their swelling, earthy vibes, silvery melodies and Derrig-Hall’s warm lyricism. The album was recorded in the greenery of Bundanon on the South Coast of NSW and will be blooming on to big smoke shelves and playlists imminently.

Catch an intimate and sublime performance from The Singing Skies on the mirrored stage of Golden Age Cinema and Bar.
