Combining classic dancefloor elements with cutting edge new sounds and an encyclopedic music knowledge, Sydney selector Kato has maintained a strong presence in the Australian dance music scene for almost 15 years.
Ben Fester is a Sydney selector who has been running the successful Heavenly parties for over three years now, and humbly flooring crowds in his own right. The pedigree of selectors that Fester has supported leaves no question about his prowess as a DJ.
Hubert Clarke Jr
Owner and operator of Outer Time Inner Space (OTIS Records), impressionistic dub-house devotee Hubert Clarke Jr releases wired and unwound house music.
Andy Garvey is a DJ / radio host / music programmer from Sydney. Her weekly radio show Pure Space airs 9-11pm every Monday on FBi Radio. As well, she hosts and produces Mix Up on Triple J & coordinated FBi's 'Dance Class'.
Lucy Cliche has been a critical force in the Sydney DIY scene for over 10 years. Under her solo veil, Lucy Cliché is an ever evolving project exploring intersections between techno, industrial and electro. Using an all hardware set-up her music delivers a hard bitten exploration of how physicality and the ethereal can interact in music – heavy bass rhythms lock into pounding drums, washed over wit..
Pjenné is a versatile purveyor of vibe matched only by those who have been buying and playing records for years. With a record collection that boasts an exquisite taste for blue eyed soul, modal, spiritual jazz and the uplifting yet hedonistic roots of disco and house, you have a fine selector.
Millú weaves a brave lineage between techno, electro and their derivatives, combining contemporary starkness with the industrial palette of bygone cold wave eras. Think smoke machines and psychedelic bodies moving in the dark and you’re getting close.
Nat James has spent the last year behind the scenes at Picnic Touring & Events. Since then she's been lucky enough to be given supporting slots for the likes of Lena Willikens, Tornado Wallace & Powder.
