Event Details

Creating your own podcast can feel like an enormous task. This practical workshop with Radiotopia’s Megan Tan (Millennial) breaks it down into simple steps — from developing a clear concept to the final mix.

As a self-taught producer, Megan offers a unique perspective on finding your voice, targeting an audience, establishing good workflow, and developing a strong podcast identity/brand. She will share tips on recording, interviewing, writing for tape, story structure and editing.

Participants will learn both the artistic and business aspects of running your own podcast and will leave with a to-do list of tasks to check off to take their podcast idea to the next level.

This event is presented in partnership with Australian Film Television and Radio School (AFTRS).
