Event Details

See, touch and experience what's now, what's new and what's next when the peak industry bodies for lighting and facility management in Australia come together at Vivid Sydney with a major exhibition and speaker symposium. Held over three days from 30 May to 1 June at the new International Convention Centre (ICC) at Darling Harbour, the sparc-FMA International Lighting & Facilities Event 2017 is the largest gathering of facilities management and smart lighting industries in the Southern Hemisphere.

As a joint initiative of Lighting Council Australia and the Facility Management Association of Australia, the sparc-FMA exhibition showcases the latest in facility management and smart lighting innovation from Australia and around the world. For the first time, Australian and international lighting designers, lighting engineers, architects, interior designers, facility managers, manufacturers, suppliers and service providers can display and demonstrate their latest products and developments under one roof.

Running concurrently with the exhibition, sparc-FMA’s symposium brings together world-renowned experts in the fields of lighting and facility management, and offers delegates the chance to take advantage of professional development opportunities in these fast-changing industries.

By popular demand, sparc-FMA culminates with a Gala Dinner in ICC’s Grand Ballroom on Thursday 1 June 2017. Complete with spectacular lighting and theming, the evening promises ideal networking opportunities and first-class entertainment along with spectacular cuisine and sweeping views of Sydney.

Exhibitors, sponsors, partners and visitors are invited to register at www.sparcfmaevent.org

Access and Inclusion

  • Wheelchair accessible - Access to the venue is suitable for wheelchairs (toilets, ramps/lifts etc.) and designated wheelchair spaces are available.
  • Hearing loop - A hearing loop (sometimes called an audio induction loop) is a special type of sound system for use by people with hearing aids. The hearing loop provides a magnetic, wireless signal that is picked up by the hearing aid when it is set to 'T' (Telecoil) setting. Many venues have an induction hearing loop system. Check if your venue has this system.
  • Companion card - The Companion Card is for people with a significant permanent disability, who always need a companion to provide attendant care type support in order to participate at most available community venues and activities.
