Event Details

As part of the MCA’s Conversation Starters weekend, don’t miss the opportunity to watch artist Locust Jones create a five metre drawing over four hours, in response to a drip-feed of current news and world affairs footage.

Echoing the media-saturation of contemporary society, Locust explores the different ways of record keeping and unpacking of the current state of affairs through the act of mark making. This raw, physical act of drawing offers a powerful and live translation of the bombardment of news we hear everyday.
