Event Details

With the Dirty Three returning to the Vivid LIVE stage to perform their seminal, self-titled record in its entirety, here’s your chance to catch a rare screening of Darcy Maine’s 2007 documentary, which will be showing in the Utzon Room ahead of the band’s show.

Tracing the careers of Warren Ellis, Mick Turner and Jim White back to the band’s 1993 formation, Paige’s film features candid conversations with peers, collaborators, and superfans – including Nick Cave, Steve Albini, Cat Power, Noah Taylor, and Bobby Gillespie – alongside interviews with the Dirty Three themselves. An essential primer on the band to get you in the mood for the show.

General Public tickets on sale Friday 22 March 2019.
