Vivid LIVE at Sydney Opera House

In an Australian first, New York R&B star, dancer, fashion designer and key Kanye collaborator Teyana Taylor will bring her electrifying presence to the Sydney Opera House’s Joan Sutherland Theatre, for a one-off performance that will be one of the most soulful shows of Vivid LIVE. For everyone who went to H.E.R.’s sold-out set last year, this is a performance you will not want to miss.

Born and raised in Harlem, Taylor was mentored by Pharrell Williams as an aspiring teenage R&B performer, before moving to Kanye West’s G.O.O.D. music label, where she guested on My Beautiful Twisted Dark Fantasy and famously appeared as the hyperkinetic flashdancer in his FADE music video. Discover the artist who has already released a series of buzzed about mixtapes – and collaborated with John Legend, Travis Scott, Pusha T, and Missy Elliott. Appreciate why Taylor’s Kanye-produced 2018 album K.T.S.E. (keep that same energy) drew acclaim for its soulful, old-school R&B flavours and booming hip-hop beats - Elton John even called it a masterpiece.

Due to an unforeseen change in touring logistics, Teyana Taylor’s Vivid LIVE performance will now take place on Wednesday 29 May, 7.30pm in the Joan Sutherland Theatre at Sydney Opera House.
 
Ticket-holders should check their email with instructions from Sydney Opera House to exchange their tickets. A full refund is available for those who are now unable or do not wish to attend on Wednesday 29 May.
