Pleasure Cycle: Ben Fester

Full sensory overload on the dancefloor beckons as we twist through a special edition of Pleasure Cycle — a night where Freda's teams one of their favourite DJs with a video artist to take you on a journey through sound and vision.

The DJ of the night will be Sydney favourite, the always impressive Ben Fester: 

The esteemed selector who has been running the successful Heavenly parties, hosts FBi Radio's Sunset and is one of the most respected figures within Australia's dance music community will be taking control for a full 6 hours. Having steadily been on the rise for a few years now, there seems to be no end to the size of dancefloor Ben is playing to. Regularly appearing at big festivals such as Inner Varnika, Subsonic and Strawberry Fields to name a few, last year saw Ben for the second time tear down the Opera House for Goodgod Superclub and embark on a European Tour. Whilst no stranger to the main stage we look forward to having an intimate night with one of the best. 

Joining Ben on the visual tip, we have Dark Cinema: 

Darkcinema is the visual project of Nema Adel, exploring the intersection of space, light, and sound. Debuting his improv VJ show in 2016, the Darkcinema show has been performed through Germany, Austria and across Australia. Expect a large variety of styles, video and animation all dynamically mixed and enhanced by live interactive elements.
