Immersion is a sensory exploration of the colour red. As visitors walk along a pathway they are bathed in torrid shades of red light and their senses are strongly stimulated; powerful emotions are immediately evoked — because red is the colour of extremes.
Red has been described as the most manipulative colour; some find it energising, powerful, exciting and passionate. Others respond with more primal reactions such as fear or apprehension.
This can be explained by the unique dual properties of the colour. Historically our ancestors saw red as the colour of fire, blood and a warning of danger but red also represents love, strength and good fortune.
Be Immersed. Be Aware… and Beware!
