Speed networking is a bit like speed dating for screen practitioners, with a focus on finding your future film, TV and digital content collaborators. It is an opportunity for like-minded creatives to meet, and form new teams.
It's important for people in the screen arts and broadcast sector to find collaborators in order to bring their projects to life. There are few places where emerging practitioners can meet other like-minded creative souls, and speed networking is a way to fast track the bonding!
Following on from the legendary Metro Screen Speed Networking events, AFTRS Open, the short course team at the Australian Film Television and Radio School, invite you to Speed Networking at AFTRS, followed by drinks. You’ll meet fresh new faces including producers, directors, cinematographers, writers, editors, actors, animators, VFX specialists, and digital media professionals.
Be warned - speed networking is fast and loud! So come prepared with business cards or pre-load your phone with your deets and your work so that you can swap contacts quickly.
