Event Details

How do artists engage with light and what does this medium enable them to convey? Light continues to be an inspiring medium for many artists looking to tap into its formal, mystical and scientific properties. As great innovators and experimenters, artists often drive emerging technologies to their limits and invoke new possibilities. Hear from an interdisciplinary panel of guests speak to the effects of light art and the ways of engaging with this challenging medium. Panellists include Sydney based artist Jonathan Jones (currently presented in MCA Collection: Luminous), Sydney-based artist Biljana Jancic and neuroscientist Dr.Joel Pearson.
