Digital Media - what is it and what can you do with it?

We receive information and we give out information. To make information effective and impactful, we need to make it attractive and sexy. You would want the information you give out to catch the eye and then to hold the consumer’s attention so your message gets through. This can be achieved in a variety of ways. 

A lot of information is presented in digital mediums. It could be in the form of photographs, sound, video or just plain text. Each of these mediums could be manipulated and also integrated with one another so you can compose the whole information on a ‘digital media’ platform.  

There are easy to learn but powerful software to do this. Becoming familiar in the handling of digital media makes one so much more productive and powerful in communication whether it is for business reasons or personal causes.
David Bartolo is a lecturer in Digital Media in TAFE NSW and has been involved in many different projects related to innovative ways of delivery. 

In this talk, David will show you how he can quickly and effectively bring together data and information represented in several different mediums and create a digital media result where the whole is greater than the sum of its parts.
