Event Details

Create NSW presents Sacha Horler, the new star of ABC’s new comedy series Sando, in a lively discussion with a panel of funny women including Zoe Coombs Marr, Elaine Crombie, Frida Deguise and Jordan Raskopoulos. Spotlighting five women changing the face of Australian comedy, this panel will focus on comedy as activism, showcasing a diverse panel of game changing comedians working across the arts and screen sectors. The panel will delve into a spectrum of topics across race, religion, sexuality and politics — what does it mean to be funny? How does it help to address taboo topics? How does comedy rally the people? How can funny women change the world?
