Sydney Film Festival is one of the world's longest-running film festivals, and is a major event on the New South Wales cultural calendar. From 3 - 14 June 2015 it will screen feature films, documentaries, short films and animation from around the world in venues across the city including the State Theatre, Event Cinemas George Street, Dendy Cinemas, the Art Gallery of NSW, the Hayden Orpheum Picture Palace in Cremorne, Casula Powerhouse Liverpool and the Skyline Drive–In Blacktown. The Sydney Film Festival Hub at Town Hall includes a bar and meeting place, featuring exhibitions, talks, entertainment, a discount ticket booth and more. SYDNEY FILM FESTIVAL DAYTIME SUBSCRIPTIONS NOW BACK IN THE STATE THEATRE

The multi-year renovation of the State Theatre’s stage and backstage facilities is now complete.  Finally Sydney Film Festival’s best-loved venue resumes its traditional ‘night and day’ screenings.  Celebrate by taking advantage of the release of 200 new Daytime Subscriptions to go on sale Tuesday 17 March 2015.

These subscriptions are part of a strictly limited number of special ticket packages offering massive savings to Sydney Film Festival 2015 (3-14 June) until 10 April or until sold out.

Designed to appeal to the avid festivalgoer, these six ticket packages give you freedom to see more films for far less.

Compare these ticket prices to the standard adult price of $19.50 + booking fee per film:

·       A Daytime GA Subscription permits you to attend 34 daytime screenings at the State Theatre – all for only $250 + BF. That means you pay only $7.35 per ticket, saving a total of $413!

A Sydney Film Festival Daytime Subscription is a curated program of films – perfect for fans interested in a wide variety of cinema from around the world. Screenings take place daily during the Festival (excluding Opening Night), with sessions starting from 10am until 2:30pm on weekends and Public Holiday Monday, and starting from 10am until 5:30pm on weekdays. Subscription dates are Thursday 4 June to Sunday 14 June.

·       A Daytime Reserved Subscription is exactly the same as the above, except you get allocated seating for an extra $25 (total price = $275 + BF). Reserved seats are located in the Mezzanine section of the State Theatre. With this subscription you pay only $8.09 per ticket, saving a total of $388.00

·       An Evening Stalls (Reserved) Subscription permits you to attend 30 evening screenings at the State Theatre – all for only $350. An evening subscription is a set program of outstanding world cinema that takes place daily (excluding Opening and Closing Night films) from after 6pm on weekdays, and after 2pm on weekends (including Public Holiday Monday).

All sessions in an Evening Stalls (Reserved) Subscription are allocated seating in the State Theatre’s Stalls section.

·       An Evening Mezzanine (Reserved) Subscription permits you to attend 30 evening screenings at the State Theatre – all for only $350. This subscription is exactly the same as above, except the seats are located in the State Theatre’s Mezzanine section.
