After 10 years, Rishi Naleendra of two Michelin-starred Cloudstreet will be reuniting with his former mentor Brent Savage for a series of sensational collaborative dinners and one lunch at Brent’s two-hatted Yellow Restaurant. Dishes will be imbued with Rishi’s signature exuberant expression, drawing on his experience working in some of the world’s best kitchens and marrying his exciting array of influences with Brent’s cutting-edge approach to contemporary Australian cuisine with delicious harmony.
Vegetables and NSW produce will be the stars of the show throughout the six courses, reflecting Vivid Sydney's celebration of nature and Yellow's leading plant-based ethos, showcasing Rishi's Sri Lankan cooking heritage and visionary flair alongside Brent's mastery of flavour for an experience that is both innovative and playful, inspiring and utterly unmissable.
Rishi's culinary career is an incredible list of achievements. He won the prestigious S. Pellegrino Young Chef award in 2016 and has worked in some of the world’s best kitchens including Tetsuya’s in Sydney and Per Se in New York.
His portfolio of incredible venues includes Fool, Kotuwa and Bincho. Cloudstreet is his flagship restaurant and has had a spectacular 2023 – collecting 2 Michelin stars for the first time and being named #26 in the Asia best 50 restaurants.
Yellow Restaurant is a vegan fine-diner situated in Potts Point Sydney. It serves an ever-changing 6 course menu and has held two conveted chef's Hats since 2019.
