Pier 2/3 - Walsh Bay

Electrolapse BYOB brings you a DIY visual paradise for two spectacular nights, transforming the historic Pier 2/3 warehouse into an immersive environment of projection, screen and video game art from Australia and around the world. Founded by notorious internet artist Rafael Rozendaal in 2011, Bring Your Own Beamer (BYOB) is an international phenomenon where artists are invited to bring their own projector to the event and screen work on any available surface.

For this epic Sydney incarnation, a program of high profile Australian and international artists will feature alongside an open invitation to independent artists and game designers to sign up and project their work, transforming Pier 2/3 into a kaleidoscopic spectacle of lightbeams and interactive mayhem.

Lineup includes: Rafael Rozendaal (New York), Joe Hamilton (Melbourne), Kit Webster (Melbourne), Zonk Vision (Melbourne), Optic Soup (Sydney), Josh Harle (Sydney), Bert Bongers (Sydney) + more to be announced. DJ sets by Rafael Rozendaal, Spoonty, Calico Cat, Holden Hands + more to be announced. If you’re a screen-based artist or game designer with cool shit to show, sign up here to bring along your projector and exhibit your work across the two nights:electrofringe.net/registerforelectrolapse
