Event Details

Signal Response is an evening delivering the most electric artists in Sydney of the moment within the walls of the iconic Metro Lair.

In its first incarnation, Signal Response will showcase sounds as part of the Vivid Music program.

Signal Response featuring:

AUTOSUGGEST – Combining searing electronic elements with aggressive live instrumentation and alt-pop production, solo producer Alec Mallia’s performance is not to be missed.

PORCELAIN – The elusive Sydney outfit broadcasting sultry vocals alongside an assertive dark pop backdrop. With no online presence, take from their lead and tune in, power off.

MUSCLE MEMORY – The three-piece electro-clash band, mixes harsh sounds and vocal lines with lush synths. Their music is a tense ode to '80s post punk, brought with a gut-punch into modern day Sydney’s underground scene.

BUZZ KULL – Solo producer, Marc Dwyer has refined his craft of fusing ragged lo-fi beats with hazy synths through the years, working dance floors in Sydney for the last five years. Signal Response will be the first time that he plays tracks from his recently released, already greatly heralded debut LP, ‘Chroma’.
