Notorious: A tribute to Nile Rodgers

For it's closing  event of Vivid Sydney 2017, Freda’s will be transformed in to a disco celebration with a tribute to the musical genius of Nile Rodgers. From his early days in Chic, forming the greatest disco band of all time, to his recent collaborations with Daft Punk, Nile Rodgers has established himself as the greatest hit maker of our time. 

On Saturday the 17th of June the Freda’s house band will be covering Rodgers classics like ‘Love Shack’ (B52’s), ‘We Are Family’ (Sister Sledge), ‘Like A Virgin’ (Madonna), ‘Original Sin’ (INXS), ‘Let’s Dance’ (David Bowie), ‘Notorious’ (Duran Duran) and a handful of our most beloved Chic hits. 

Previous House Bands have featured Isabella Manfredi (The Preatures), Michael Di Francesco (Touch Sensitive), Rainbow Chan, Moon Holiday, Tom Tilley (Client Liaison), Ross Ferraro (The Goods/The Possé), Tyson Koh (Keep Sydney Open), Josh Beagley (Personal Best) and many more!
