Event Details

Already hyped as dropping one of this year’s biggest albums, Sampha will bring his distinctive voice to the Drama Theatre in his first-ever Sydney headline appearances.

Since 2011, the South-Londoner has built his reputation writing and singing alongside the biggest names in the biz — most famously Drake, Solange, Frank Ocean and Kanye West, now departing on his own artistic endeavour to share his songbook with the world.

On his debut album Process, Sampha showcases a period of introspection and solemnity, expressed through elegant piano ballads such as “No One Knows Me (Like The Piano)” and compulsive pop hits like “Blood On Me”. All this brings Sampha to our stage in two intimate nights of transporting songs in the most intimate setting you may ever see him in.

“There is no such thing as a shoo-in for the Mercury Prize … [but] Process might be the record to beat this year” -  The Guardian
