Event Details

Based on the belief that young people should create not inherit the future, Vibewire is a youth-led and youth-run organisation that provides opportunities for young people to accelerate their professional skill development through entrepreneurship and social enterprise.

Vibewire's Pitch the Future is like a "Shark Tank" for young social entrepreneurs. Showcasing social, creative and technological innovation.

Our 2017 Theme is “Human Touch”

The question being 'How can technology + creativity = 'human touch'?

Seeking how we can utilise existing technologies in new ways to create a more human experience.

At Pitch the Future, you will see five of the most creative, young social entrepreneurs in Sydney and beyond pitch their projects for support. Each entrepreneur has only three minutes to position and pitch their concept, win your support and your vote.

We are looking for two winners — a judge's choice and a people's choice. As a member of the audience, you too, can take a seat at the Shark Tank's judge's table.

What's the prize?

Each of the winners will receive ongoing acceleration and support to make their idea a reality. Main prize is $1,000 in seed funding and 6 months of access and social impact acceleration at Vibewire's coworking space, the Common Room worth $900.

Pitch the Future takes place from 6pm on Thursday 1 June at Vivant, Level 16, 55 Market Street Sydney

Tickets from $10, drinks and nibbles provided
