Embracing the concept of audio-visual immersion, S.A.S.H & Mantra Collective join the music and visual programming of Vivid Sydney this year with world leading artists for an exclusive one off event called Inner Space. Fresh from Sunwaves Festival, Romanian nationals Arapu and Cote will be curating an all night experience comprising never before seen panoramic visuals at The Arthouse Hotel coupled with FunktionOne sound to create a cosmic experience.

Across 2 levels, Sydney’s finest including Gabby, Jac Frier, Jake Hough, Le Brond, Datura, Mantra Collective, Matt Weir and Kerry Wallace will be providing support for this experience.

Arapu (Sunrise/Romania)

Ionut Arapu known as ARAPU has been passionate about music since a young age. Since 2008 Arapu made himself known on the house music scene in Romania. Having had the opportunity to play alongside Raresh, Rhadoo, Barac and Priku, he has become a household name in his native country and abroad. With support of his production from artists around the world including Ricardo Villalobos, Nima Gorji and Praslesh, his records continue to gain fame.

Cote (Sunrise/Romania - Visual Artist)

Combining spatial context and cgi, Cote is known for mapping visuals onto the architecture and structural beauty of the venues he works in.

As a tech tributary to contemporary media platform vvvv, he has found himself branching out interests from visual syntax into interaction and light-design. Cote is a true innovator who works around the world with some of the biggest names in music. A true visionary.

Central to any good Romanian party are the visuals. It's another aspect of the all-around experience that must be witnessed to be properly appreciated. Lighting and visuals have become an part of almost any musical performance, be it a techno night at Berghain/Panorama Bar, or a classical show in an opera house.
