Zoe Johnson

Arts and Cultural Officer, Northern Beaches Council

Zoë’s role focuses on increasing arts access for residents and fostering opportunities for creative practitioners. As a part of Council’s Place Management Unit, Zoë facilitates arts outcomes which reflect local place identity. She is passionate about creative partnerships, community participation and inclusive design.
In her previous role at Pittwater Council Zoë developed ‘The Arts Paper’, which sits in council’s integrated planning framework. She also draws upon her previous experience at Museums & Galleries NSW to deliver capacity building programs and services to artists.
Zoë has a keen interest in contemporary art and interdisciplinary arts practice. She is a practising artist who works primarily in glass and drawing, and is a graduate of Sydney University’s Sydney College of the Arts.
