Producer at Rage / Campaign Manager, Keep Sydney Open
Tyson Koh is the campaign manager of anti-lockout advocacy group Keep Sydney Open and producer of the ABC's long-running music program Rage.
Since running Keep Sydney Open in April 2015, Tyson has been at the forefront of the debate on Sydney’s nightlife and its cultural vibrancy. This culminated in the organising of a rally attended by over 15,000 people and several appearances in mainstream media. He is now a key contributor to the state government on the future of Sydney’s night-time economy.
Tyson has been producing Rage since 2011 and works to promote local talent, alongside programming classic content. He oversees the curating and filming of the show's legendary 'guest program' segment, while managing Rage's online presence. Tyson also presents the weekly show Loose Joints on Sydney's FBi Radio, which he has hosted since 2008.
Starting off his career in music as a DJ, Tyson has performed at events including the Big Day Out, Playground Weekender, Harvest, Parklife and the Biennale of Sydney. This led to music programming for major events like Sydney Festival, the Commonwealth Games in Delhi and Darling Harbour’s NYE 2015 fireworks display.
