Tandi Palmer Williams

Managing Director, Patternmakers

Tandi Palmer Williams is an experienced consultant and arts and culture research specialist. She is accredited as a Qualified Practising Market Researcher (QPMR) and is an associate of the UTS Institute of Public Policy and Governance.

As leader of Patternmakers, she manages a team of three staff and four contractors, all dedicated to researching important arts issues and opportunities. She is a trusted advisor of arts organisation leaders, and government agencies, and is currently leading the Review of Touring and Engagement for the Victorian Government.

Up until 2015 Tandi was research manager for the Digital R&D Fund for the Arts in England, and was previously research manager for the Australia Council for the Arts and senior consultant at PricewaterhouseCoopers. She’s passionate about the role of research in creative industries innovation, and finding patterns in unexpected places.
