A man and his microphone asked the world to consider what is our collective human song—then he began to capture it.
Simon Jankelson is a social entrepreneur, music facilitator, interactive design specialist, public speaker and musician.
Music was always been a cathartic act for Simon—by combining his experience writing for critically acclaimed bands and directing an award winning interactive media company, he established an innovative methodology that unifies groups through collective song making. Supported by a successful crowdfunding campaign, Simon and The Human Sound Project went on a world tour, sharing the powerful stories of over fifty groups across six continents through collaboratively created song.
Simon believes that humanities greatest tools to uplift and connect are song and story—that these collective experiences can overcome the disparity in diversity. Simon is proud to have taken the project from concept to a global music movement empowering thousands, of all ages, races and cultural backgrounds to create together: www.thehumansoundproject.com
