Sein Wai Chew
Head Teacher IT & Games, The Northern Sydney Institute
I have a computer science background and started my professional life as a programmer in National Australia Bank. I then moved to IBM where I was a systems specialist for many years until I became a member of TAFE's teaching staff.

As a head teacher of IT and Games courses for over 10 years, I have been able to marry both my technical left brain with my creative right to provide a learning environment where the fun one gets in learning is just as important as the skills acquired for a job in the industry. This approach guides the way my courses are implemented and the choice of staff I select to deliver them.
Navigating careers in the creative industries can be daunting. Creative students currently at school or uni will need more than a tertiary qualification...
