Claire has a passion for planning and designing great cities in the context of transformational growth and change. She is highly regarded for her collaborative leadership and innovative partnerships with community, key stakeholders and across local and state government to deliver exemplar integrated 'place and movement' outcomes for our community. Claire advocates for designing healthy, vibrant and resilient streets as places for people, the living lounge rooms of a compact inner city where our community connects, travels and recreates.
As a highly talented executive whose thought leadership and strategy have led to breakthroughs in government planning policy for cycling, walking and public transport, Claire has experience in the private sector, in government with both local and state government in the UK and Victoria, and currently with the City of Port Phillip. She is known for her commitment to developing community and government relationships, innovative engagement and project management skills having led the Acland Street Upgrade project in partnership with Public Transport Victoria and Yarra Trams, implementation of the Victorian Cycling Strategy and project design and delivery of the London Bus Initiative for 'Transport for London' and Westminster Council.
