Anthony Aisenberg

Director and Founder, CrowdSpot

Anthony is an established urban planner and founder of CrowdSpot, a map-based community engagement organisation leading the way at the intersection of urban planning, citizen engagement and technology. His passion for community engagement stems from a drive to ensure that important planning and place making decisions reflect the views and priorities of citizens. Always exploring new ways to reduce barriers to citizen participation, Anthony champions the benefits of collaboration between communities and government organisations. In 2016, Anthony’s work was recognised at the Planning Institute of Australia awards for Planning Excellence in the 'Public Engagement and Community Planning' category for the BikeSpot project, a collaboration between 13 government organisations and 16 community groups to crowd source perceptions of bicycle safety.
