Adam Brimo is the Co-Founder of OpenLearning.com, a student centred online learning platform established in 2012.
Adam has numerous accolades to his name, including the 2011 Choice Magazine Consumer Activist of the Year and was the recipient of the 2011 UNSW Alumni Graduand Award. Brimo notably led the successful Vodafail consumer activist campaign in 2010-2011, which resulted in nationwide media coverage, an ACMA (Australian Communications and Media Authority) inquiry into Vodafone's conduct and a $1bn network upgrade for Vodafone’s Australian business.
Now, working alongside fellow founders, OpenLearning.com now employs 40 people, has raised over A$3m in venture funding and is headquartered in Sydney with its Southeast Asia regional office in Kuala Lumpur. Over 350,000 students have joined courses, including the first massive open online courses from Australia and Malaysia.
