Think big! Be bold!

Students have the chance to see their 2D images and designs projected onto the façade of Customs House in Sydney’s popular Circular Quay during Vivid Sydney 2020.

Students Australia-wide from Kindergarten to Year 12 are invited to create a design based on Bold Geometry that will delight, inspire and surprise visitors to the world-renowned festival.

Bold Geometry encourages students to explore colour, scale, shape, line and form, while celebrating the contours of the architecture of Customs House.

Each school can submit student designs for consideration and a judging panel will make a selection of 20 winning designs that will be transformed into a projection on this historic building. The panel will select artworks that demonstrate outstanding creativity, originality and careful consideration given to the forms of the building's architecture.

The selected designs will be projected each evening between the main animation produced for the site for the duration of Vivid Sydney.

Submissions may include drawing, painting, mixed media or digital design and must be supplied as a PSD, JPG or TIF file.
