Over time, human beings have used art to express their ideas, emotions or try to imagine other hypothetical worlds and escape reality. These artistic creations have the power to instil multiple interpretations by those who interact with them. The possibility of travelling to the future or the past in space and time to other worlds is one of the most desired ideas by humanity. This is the case of Through the Wormhole - an artistic installation of light, space and immersive sound - inside a tunnel.
Inspired by the concept of Einstein's general relativity ‘wormhole’, creating a relationship between light, space, time and people, this installation has created hypothetical travel to the future and past. With different light and sound sequences within a space designed with an optical depth effect and perspective through the reflection of light in a series of mirrors on the floor, travellers - once they are absorbed by the wormhole - will cross the path that suggests the idea of going on a trip. Through the Wormhole aims to generate unique emotions and interpretations of the trip you take during your interaction with the installation. It's designed to stimulate the imagination of time travel that humanity has always dreamed of.
